The Los Angeles Dodgers are used to having some of the best pitching staffs in MLB, particularly in recent years.

They have made pitching depth and quality organizational priorities over the years.

Injuries, however, have hit them hard this season.

Right now, Walker Buehler, Dustin May, Tony Gonsolin, Emmet Sheehan and Yoshinobu Yamamoto are on the injured list.

That’s an entire rotation right there, which is why the fact they are first in the NL West with a 7.5-game lead before Thursday’s games is so impressive.

They are, however, enjoying some excellent news on Thursday.

“The Dodgers activated 10-time All-Star Clayton Kershaw from the injured list and designated RHP Yohan Ramirez for assignment,” the team announced via Twitter.
