VfB Stuttgart: Brighton lehnt 2. Angebot für Undav ab - Scheitert Rückkehr? | TransfermarktVfB Stuttgart will end negotiations with Brighton and Hove Albion for Deniz Undav this week if an agreement is not struck.

That’s according to BILD, who say the German side have now set ‘an internal deadline’ to try and bring an end to the drawn-out negotiations to get Undav back.

The newspaper reports that talks between Brighton and Stuttgart are now ‘entering the final phase’ as the latter have set a deadline to bring them to a halt.

They have decided that if no agreement is struck this week, they will withdraw from negotiations and move on to alternative striker targets.

Both clubs are in ‘intensive contacts’ about the transfer, with Stuttgart offering a fixed fee of €25m including possible bonus payments that could make it rise above €30m and a club record deal.

They absolutely want to keep Undav after his successful performances on loan from Brighton last season, and he has spoken publically several times about wanting a return too.VfB Stuttgart: Brighton lehnt 2. Angebot für Undav ab - Scheitert Rückkehr? | Transfermarkt

He wants to be one of the top earners at the club and earn over €3m a year and an agreement is in place on that, but the player wants four years and VfB three.

That is a final step to be cleared once there’s an agreement with Brighton, which is yet to be reached but now has to be done by Sunday evening before Stuttgart give up.
