Mykhailo Mudryk has delivered a clear message to Mauricio Pochettino ahead of Chelsea’s Premier League match against Bournemouth.
Mykhailo Mudryk will be looking to start for Mauricio Pochettino’s Chelsea against Bournemouth in the Premier League. The 22-year-old has had a difficult start to the new season, with no league starts and only 67 minutes off the bench.

He missed the win over Luton Town and the Carabao Cup victory over AFC Wimbledon due to a minor injury, but he has since returned to training. During the international break, he also appeared for Ukraine in a European Championship qualification against England.

Mudryk struggled to make an impression against Kyle Walker, but supporters have urged for him, Noni Madueke, or Cole Palmer to start. Ben Chilwell has been employed in an advanced role in place of that three, with Pochettino selecting only two recognized attackers in his last two starting XIs.
With Pochettino defending his usage of Chilwell in his press conference on Friday, a tactical rethink does not appear inevitable. “Ben is a full-back, I know, but he can help the team in different positions,” he explained. Ben Chilwell, I believe, produced more opportunities than any other player in the team’s animation. “I believe Ben played in a similar position for the national team.”

Mudryk, on the other hand, appears to have demonstrated his strongest trait to Pochettino in training, with his lightning pace and quick feet on display. On Instagram, the January signing shared a video of his goal in a small-sided game, in which he rushes past one defender, gets the ball from a teammate, and finishes powerfully.

Mudryk performed a number of movements on the Cobham pitches that were similar to those saw in his electric debut against Liverpool earlier this year. Mudryk needs confidence and belief from above, and if he is to succeed at Stamford Bridge, it will most likely come from Pochettino.
