Swindon Town manager Mark Kennedy is set to continue his side’s summer recruitment, with his side now turning their attention to a current League One player ahead of a potential move.
The football club have experienced a busy start to the summer transfer window, adding big names such as Crawley’s Will Wright, Rotherham’s Grant Hall and Mansfield’s Ollie Clarke.
There have also been outgoings with the likes of Charlie Austin, Frazer Blake-Tracy and Rushian Hepburn-Murphy all completing permanent exits away from the football club.
However, it now appears as though a new target has been identified ahead of a potential loan switch to League Two.
Tshimanga to Swindon?
According to Football Insider, Swindon Town have turned their attention to Peterborough United striker Kabongo Tshimanga, ahead of a loan move to the football club.
Tshimanga spent the latter stages of the 2023/24 campaign with National League side Boreham Wood, where he managed to rediscover his goalscoring touch despite being unable to keep the club in the National League.
The forward has been transfer listed by Peterborough United, but a loan swoop could be on the cards for Swindon.
