West Ham news: Slice of luck ahead of Europa Conference League semi

DONE DEAL WESTHAM HAVE SECURE THE SIGNATURE OF A SENSATIONAL STAR FROM WOLVE….

Our Irons have had an excellent start to the season, with our only two defeats coming against Man City and Liverpool. Now the board are eager to improve the squad to increase the club’s chances of landing another season of European football

After a disappointing campaign for both Ben Johnson and Vladimir Coufal, the right hand side of defence is a position the Hammers need to improve upon. Coufal has had a brilliant start to the season but it’s vital we don’t overwork him and cause his fire to burn out.

Wolves, as we learnt from the Cresswell saga, are having some financial difficulties which could see them sell some first team players in January, tt is reported they value Semedo at £29 million and the East London side could bring him in to provide competition for the Czech international, as stated on TeamTalk.

Admittedly, Semedo never reached his full potential but he’s performed at a high level for the majority of his career and, in today’s market, the price tag isn’t too bad.

It is set to be another long season ahead with us still being in all four competitions, so it is vital we have top players who we can bring in and rely on when needed. Semedo is certainly a quality player and would provide some much needed depth to our fullbacks. Tim Steidten is already at work, there is no doubt that he will have plenty of players for Moyes to consider in January, we will have to wait and see if the Portuguese defender is one of them.
