Everton has signed 22-year-old Armando Broja of Chelsea to lead the attack this season, according to i News.
Everton have reportedly made enquiries about signing Chelsea striker Armando Broja this summer.
The 22-year-old has come through the Blues’ youth academy but has failed to establish himself in the first-team.
He was sent on loan to Fulham for the second-half of the 2023-24 campaign, but couldn’t score a single goal in eight league appearances.
Chelsea are prepared to sell Broja, who has earned 23 caps for the Albania national team, as he is deemed surplus to requirements at Stamford Bridge.
According to i News, Everton have made contact to sign the 22-year-old but budgetary concerns mean they are only interested in a loan move for him.
The centre-forward is understood to be keen to join the Merseyside outfit but they would only move for him if Dominic Calvert-Lewin leaves the club.
Calvert-Lewin has entered the final year of his contract at Goodison Park but he is yet to pen an extension.
The Toffees may look to sell the 27-year-old this summer rather than risk losing him for free next year.
Everton already have Beto who arrived at the club in the previous summer transfer window.
The Portuguese showed some positive signs for Sean Dyche’s side last term as he started nine Premier League matches and scored three goals.
Youssef Chermiti also impressed during the pre-season and his displays suggest he is ready for a greater role at the club.
But they will still need to add another striker if they let Calvert-Lewin leave this summer
