According to a report in the Swedish media, AIK midfielder Lamine Fanne has signed for Luton Town.

The 20-year-old has been linked with a move to the Championship side in the past week and it seems a deal has been finalised.

Fotboll Direkt have reported on the last developments regarding Fanne’s proposed transfer to Luton Town after reports yesterday he was having a medical with the English club.

The Swedish media outlet say the young Spaniard has signed a four and a half year contract with the Hatters. In recent days it’s been reported Luton Town have agreed a £3.3m transfer fee with AIK, which could rise to £5 with add-ons

As part of the deal the youngster will be sent back to AIK for the remainder of the Allsvenskan season as he continues his development. The Stockholm side are currently halfway through their domestic campaign.

Fanne has made nine starts in the league this season for AIK, scoring one goal.
