Moyes-West-HamMoyes has been linked with a stunning return to Everton as Dyche continues to feel the pressure at Goodison Park. The former Burnley boss has overseen three straight league defeats; losing 3-0 to Brighton, 4-0 to Tottenham and 3-2 to Nottingham Forest, despite being 2-0 up in the 86th minute.

THE BIGGER PICTURE

Now, Football Insider reports that the Toffees have once again placed Moyes on their shortlist if they decide to sack Dyche. The Scotsman left West Ham at the end of last season, and spent 11 years at Goodison Park, between 2002 and 2013. The report claims he would “love” to make a return, and while Dyche is under contract until next summer, further defeats may see his services dispensed with.

DID YOU KNOW?

Moyes did not win a trophy during his time at Everton but he did smash the glass ceiling by guiding them to a fourth-placed finish in 2004-05. Given his availability, Dyche may well feel his breath on his neck.
