Gary O’Neil revealed in his post-match press conference after the defeat to Newcastle United that Bastien Meupiyou, Rayan Ait-Nouri, and Toti Gomes wouldn’t be available for selection after suffering injuries.
Toti has been sidelined with a hamstring injury and wasn’t in the match day squad against Newcastle. Left-back Ait-Nouri has twisted his ankle, meanwhile Meupiyou arrived from Nantes with an issue that the club was made aware about.
Andre, who was making his first full start, along with right-back Nelson Semedo, both suffered with fatigue towards the end of the match, but there is no cause for concern.
