West Ham United head coach Julen Lopetegui is feeling the pressure already, after only three months in charge at the London Stadium.
Julen Lopetegui took over as West Ham‘s new head coach officially on July 1st, after David Moyes had been moved on from the London Stadium by the club’s owners.
The Hammers head coach‘s arrival was met with a mix of optimism and skepticism from the West Ham fans.
Some believed he has the skillset needed to take us to the next level, and they still do in all fairness.
Meanwhile, others labelled Lopetegui as the ‘Spanish Moyes’. Only time will tell which camp is correct.
Julen Lopetegui actually apologised to the West Ham fans after Saturday’s 3-0 defeat to Chelsea, and rightly so.
It really was a shambolic performance all round.
The 58-year-old made some strange decisions with his lineup – mainly leaving Jean-Clair Todibo on the bench, and some awful calls when it came to making his subs.
Things go from bad to worse for West Ham boss Julen Lopetegui
The Hammers chief will undoubtedly be feeling the heat right now.
