The Boozer twins have established themselves as formidable athletes, earning a reputation as three-time state champions and winners of Peach Jam titles across three age groups. Now, as 2025 Duke basketball recruits and sons of Carlos Boozer—a 2001 Blue Devil national champion and two-time NBA All-Star—Cameron and Cayden Boozer aim to leave their mark on the highly competitive City of Palms Classic in Fort Myers, Florida. Their debut at the event suggests they are well on their way to achieving this goal.

Cameron Boozer, a five-star power forward from Columbus High School in Florida, holds the No. 2 overall ranking in the 247Sports 2025 Composite. His twin brother, Cayden Boozer, is a five-star point guard ranked No. 22 in the same class. The talented duo faced off against Great Crossing High School from Kentucky, led by four-star Kentucky commit Malachi Moreno, in their opening game on Thursday night.

Columbus High School dominated the game, making a powerful statement with a 90-39 victory. Cameron Boozer showcased his skills, finishing the game with an impressive 23 points and nine rebounds in just 21 minutes of play. The 6-foot-9, 245-pound forward, who is projected to be a one-and-done lottery pick in the NBA draft, demonstrated efficiency by shooting 10-for-13 from the field and 3-for-5 from beyond the arc. In addition to his offensive contributions, Cameron played a pivotal role on defense, limiting Moreno to only 10 points and six rebounds.

Cayden Boozer also delivered an outstanding performance. The 6-foot-4, 205-pound point guard led the game with eight assists and maintained exceptional ball control, finishing without a single turnover. He added 16 points, one rebound, and one steal in his 21 minutes on the court, shooting 7-for-9 overall and 2-for-2 from three-point range. Cayden’s ability to efficiently orchestrate the offense and contribute scoring further highlighted his versatility and leadership skills.

With this dominant win, the Boozer twins and their Columbus High School team advanced to the quarterfinals of the City of Palms Classic. They are set to face Grayson High School from Georgia in their next matchup at 7:15 p.m. ET on Friday. As the tournament progresses, all eyes will be on the Boozer brothers to see if they can continue their streak of excellence and add another accolade to their growing list of achievements.
