The Whites have a huge number of players that are worth keeping track of as they embarked on loans this season, jumping ship for the 23/24 season.

While they might be already forgotten for a lot, and it’s fair if so, it’s also worth considering how they are doing as they might end up funding Leeds’ summer in 2024

How is Jack Harrison getting on?

Jack Harrison joined Everton in mid-August, but has been forced to be patient for his first appearance of this season after missing pre-season at Elland Road due to injury.

He moved to Sean Dyche’s side aiming to create some stability after consecutive narrow escapes from relegation at Goodison Park, and has showcased his quality already.

A home meeting against Bournemouth brought Harrison’s first league start, where he fired in a brilliant goal for 2-0, before setting up the third in a dominant performance.

What has he said about Leeds?

Returning from injury and hitting the ground running is something that Tyler Adams hasn’t been able to do at Bournemouth, so Harrison is grateful that he’s been able to do so, and thanks to staff at Leeds as well as with the Toffees.

Speaking to Everton’s official site, he said:

“It’s been a tough period with my injury. Everyone at Leeds was great with my rehab, but changing over can be difficult at times.

“The staff here have been brilliant with me, helping me to get to the condition I’m in now – maybe a little bit before expected. It’s a credit to them, a credit to the staff at Leeds, as well, and a credit to the coaching staff here for providing that opportunity for me.

“It’s something I’ve been working really hard for, and they’ve given me that opportunity. I was really grateful to have the experience against Bournemouth, and I’m hoping to carry on.”

He has got to top speed a lot sooner than many would have thought, and it helped that he wasn’t rushed back to the chaos of the Championship before that.Image for “A credit” – Loaned-out Leeds United man heaps praise on key factor that has allowed him fine start at new club

Perhaps Harrison could have held himself back from playing for Leeds in the hope that he secured a move to the Premier League?

It’s hard to say whether that’s the case, but at least we know his performances already depict a player that could end up earning us a transfer profit next year, as he’s not coming back.
