Despite a fantastic start to the season, Leicester goalkeepers Mads Hermansen and Jacub Stolarczyk has seen a few balls being picked out of the net, so who are they, those few and rear players to have scored against Leicester this season.
The first to mention is of course Liam Delap, scoring the 1-0 winner for Hull at King Power. Delap is among the most promising youngsters at Man City, currently loaned out to The Tigers to get first team opportunities and build on his talent. The son of Rory, the long ball throw-in specialist, most known from his time at Stoke. Liam is at present also very much involved in the England U.21 set up as the 20 year old has scored 2 goals in 3 appearances.
When Leicester played Blackburn away at Ewood Park, Sammie Szmodics was the goalscorer for the opponent. Szmodics is 28 years of age, started his career at Colchester United. He has had spells at Bristol City and Peterborough United, before joining Blackburn in 2022. He is on a impressive tally of goals, 7 in 11 games. He was called up to the Ireland squad for their Euro 2024 qualifiers. Borin in England, but eligible to play for Ireland through his grandmother being Irish.
Fred Onyedinma was the goalscorer for Rotherham United in their 1-2 defeat at home to Leicester. He is a player currently on loan from Luton Town. Previously being pivotal at Millwall, playing 120 league games for The Lions, before moving to Kenilworth Road in 2021, so far 44 league appearances for The Hatters. He has also represented Wycombe Wanderers. The 26 year old has so far played 10 league games for The Millers, scoring twice.
20 year old Samuel Edozie was the one scoring for Southampton in that 1-4 defeat to Leicester. The former Man City talent made his full move to Saints last summer, signing a five year deal. He has scored 2 goals in 9 league appearances this season, with the England U.20 international looking as a young promising prospect.
Central defender Kyle McFadzean was the one scoring for Coventry City as they took to the lead in the opener at King Power. The 36 year old has a grand career in lower league football after he left Sheffield United in 2007, without playing in league action. He is also an England C international, representing the national amateur team on 4 occasions, scoring 1 goal. He joined Coventry in 2019 and so far this season played 6 games.
Liverpool scored three on Mads Hermansen when they were kept on their toes by Leicester in the first half. Goals from Gakpo, Szoboszlai and Jota. They are a force and will probably dominate in Premier League this season, and the Hungarian midfielder being one buy to look on with huge admiration.
