AFC Rushden & Diamonds are delighted to announce the signings of Reuben Wyatt and Jacob Scott on work experience loans from Sky Bet League One side Northampton Town.
Reuben and Jacob – aged 17 and 18 respectively – are midfield players and have both had a taste of first team experience, featuring for the Cobblers in this season’s Football League Trophy campaign.
Co-Interim Manager Michael Harriman commented: “I’m pleased to be able to bring Reuben and Jacob into the group. We were able to get a look at them both this week and knowing we were tight on numbers this weekend it makes perfect sense. I know both lads are thought of very highly and I’d like to thank Shane Goddard at Northampton for his help in allowing this to happen.”
Reuben and Jacob trained with the squad on Thursday evening and both are available for selection for tomorrow’s Pitching In Northern Premier League Midlands Division fixture against Sutton Coldfield Town.
