Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag has warned his side against complacency ahead of this evening’s trip to Sheffield United.

However, United have still had a dismal start to the season having won four and lost four of their eight top flight matches, while they are also bottom of their Champions League group following defeats to Bayern Munich and Galatasaray.

And Ten Hag called on his side to step up at Bramall Lane, where they will take on a Blades side who have just one point from eight games, while he also insisted United are yet to show their top form this year.

‘Every game is very difficult,’ he told United’s official website. ‘You have seen they have had really good performances but in that moment, they don’t get the result.
