Branthwaite Signs Long-Term Everton Contract

PREMIER LEAGUE PUNDIT PRAISES SENSATIONAL ACE WHO ‘BAILED OUT’……

Premier League pundit Jim Beglin praised James Tarkowski after the Everton centre-back ‘bailed out’ Jarrad Branthwaite at Liverpool in the Merseyside derby on Saturday.

Salah had the goal at his mercy but Tarkowski got back to block the Liverpool forward’s shot and then Ryan Gravenberch’s rebound. Branthwaite had initially blocked the ball as the Reds crossed into Jordan Pickford’s box. But the 21-year-old slipped and gave Salah possession.

Beglin was quick to praise Tarkowski for the centre-half’s awareness to get on Everton’s line and block Salah’s strike.
