Cardiff City thumped Huddersfield Town 4-0 in the Championship last night.
Cardiff City ended a run of three games without a win in emphatic fashion last night, winning 4-0 away at Huddersfield Town on what was a cold night in Yorkshire.
The Bluebirds scored three goals before the break, with Callum Robinson, Dimitrios Goutas, and Yakou Meite on the scoresheet, with Perry Ng scoring the fourth after half-time.
Erol Bulut’s side moved up into 6th place of the Championship table with the win and have already put 20 points on the board after the opening six games of the season.
And last night there were a number of standout performances, with one coming from Nottingham Forest loan man Josh Bowler.
He provided the assist for Robinson’s opener, having recorded one assist and scored one goal in six Champisonhip appearances so far this season.
Wales Online rated his performance as 8/10, with journalist John Jones adding:
“Fizzing with confidence right from the word go, grabbing an early assist for Robinson and going close himself. Looked to have shaken off an early knock as he terrorised the Terriers going forward, but was taken off after going down again on the hour mark. A concern after a brilliant performance.”
Bowler has had some stop start seasons of late. He’s been on the move a few times and sent out on loan a couple, with injury having so far impacted his time at Cardiff.
And he could yet have a fresh injury blow after coming off early last night, which would be a huge blow to Bulut and Cardiff City after Bowler showcased his class last night.
