How long have you supported Exeter City?

I’ve supported Exeter for three years now. I moved down to Devon and I was desperate to watch my local side regularly. I’ve been a Man Utd supporter all my life and what with being from South East I hardly ever watched them play. So, I thought I’d try Exeter – as an experiment – and I’m in. 100 per cent. Season ticket. The lot.

What are your hopes and expectations for the 2023/24 season?

I’m still really optimistic. I saw more than enough in the first few weeks to make me think we’ve got a chance of getting into the play-offs. And although we’ve had a terrible month, I know we’ll be back beating teams again. What do you think of your manager?

I love Gary. He’s great. I’ve met him a few times through the podcast and he’s really generous with his time and has a great sense of humour. He gives clear, honest interviews after the matches. He says the right things and has been getting us playing good football. I really want him to succeed at Exeter and I am certain he will.Tony Mowbray says Sunderland got a telling off at half-time in Millwall win - Sports Illustrated Sunderland Nation
