Lucas Paqueta has the look of a player who quite simply doesn’t want to be at West Ham United anymore in my opinion, and can you blame him?

West Ham midfielder Lucas Paqueta was the only one who tried to make anything happen against Everton today, but in doing so, he gave the ball away time and time agaiLucas Paqueta doesn't want to play for West Ham anymore but you can't blame him

The Brazilian is so talented but infuriating at the same time – precisely something that Tim Sherwood alluded to recently.

The Hammers were beaten by the Toffees at the London Stadium and it was undoubtedly the worst performance I have seen from us for quite some time.

David Moyes set his team up incorrectly yet again – the Scot is far too loyal to players who do not deserve his backing. He is to blame for the poor quality of football on display though, let’s not forget that.

Even the brilliance of Lucas Paqueta couldn’t save us. He did some magnificent things today but let’s have it right, he made some incredibly annoying, simple mistakes as well.

The 26-year-old just looks like he doesn’t have much interest in playing for us anymore, certainly whils

The South American looked like he was more interested in getting booked, and subsequently suspended for our next Premier League game against Brentford, than he was in doing anything of note inside the final third.

He was wasteful and carless with the ball, and there was absolutely no conviction in anything that he did inside the final third.

Paqueta was careless in everything that he did because he probably thinks, ‘why should I bother when we set up like this every single week’?

The South American registered a really poor completion rate of just 70.9% from 55 attempted passes, and he lost the ball four times when in possession (Who Scored).

In my opinion, Paqueta doesn’t want to play in such a rigid, bland and toothless setup, and that shone through loud and clear today.

I don’t blame him one little bit though. Players like Paqueta and Mohammed Kudus want to play in a forward-thinking, progressive system.Lucas Paqueta doesn't want to play for West Ham anymore but you can't blame him

It’s very clear in my mind – if David Moyes remains at West Ham, then Lucas Paqueta will leave the London Stadium.

The Scot belongs in a bygone era as far as I’m concerned. I have to thank him for bringing a major trophy to the club but enough is enough, it’s time for him to go.

Lucas Paqueta’s recent performances prove that he wants out in my opinion. And that’s a result of Moyes’s dross setup, week in, week out.
