On Saturday he earned a point with his goal two minutes into stoppage time, and he netted the opener against Birmingham earlier in the season a minute after the end of the standard 90.

He’s also keen on a close-range goal: all four ofhis strikes so far have come from less than eight yards.

“I felt we were the better team and we deserved more but it was nice to come and score such a late goal.

“Ten minutes before, we had the same situation. Imran put in a good ball and I almost got on it. The second time, it went in.

“I always thought we would get back into the game. We always hope and believe that we will hit back.

“It was good to get one point, even though we thought we deserved more.”

Rajovic says he is now starting to feel settled in England after moving from Sweden.

“I’m enjoying life in England. At the start I had to learn everything about the team, but it’s going quite well – I like it here,” said the 24-year-old.

“When I came over, I didn’t know much about the Championship, but I like it a lot.

“I’m here to learn. This is a very big club with a lot of fans. I do my best every day in training to get into the team.

“I try to help the team as best as possible. If the coach wants me to stay on the bench and come in to make a difference, or wants me to start, then I’m up for everything. Of course I always want to start.”
