Crystal Palace weigh up Che Adams bid amid Michael Olise interest from Chelsea | Evening StandardWolves Are Keen On Landing This Southampton Forward This January: Good Signing For O’Neil? In a recent report, The Telegraph (subscription required) revealed that Wolverhampton Wanderers are keen on landing Southampton forward Che Adams this January. It is understood that Wolves are weighing up a move to sign the Scottish striker this winter.

Adams’ Good Form At St. Mary’s Stadium This Season

Adams is enjoying a decent campaign in the EFL Championship as he has managed to put in a few fruitful displays for the Saints in the final third. The Scottish talent has participated in 12 matches for Southampton this season, scoring three times and earning a couple of assists in the process across all fronts.

The 27-year-old has managed to give a good account of himself in the opponent’s half and has done well to average 1.5 shots, 0.7 key passes and 0.5 dribbles per game in the English Championship. He has even been tidy when distributing the ball from midfield based on his pass completion rate of 76.7% in the English second tier (stats via whoscored).

Will Adams Be A Good Signing For Wolves Boss Gary O’Neil?

Adams excels at finding space for himself to get a few shots in at goal. He can be a decent goal-getter in the final third when he is playing at the top of his game on the pitch.Crystal Palace weigh up Che Adams bid amid Michael Olise interest from Chelsea | Evening Standard

The Scottish sensation can create the odd chance for his teammates and is proficient at making a few lively runs up top. However, he needs to work on improving his link-up play in and around the opposition penalty box.

Adams would be a great signing for Wolves as he would add more firepower to Gary O’Neil’s attack. He is good enough to help the West Midlands club challenge for a top-half finish in the Premier League this season.Crystal Palace weigh up Che Adams bid amid Michael Olise interest from Chelsea | Evening Standard

Therefore, Wolves should focus on making a cut-price move to bring Adams to the Molineux Stadium in the upcoming January transfer window. He has enough top-flight experience under his belt and could be a real asset in O’Neil’s squad in the future
