Crystal Palace failed in a bid to sign Sunderland winger Jack Clarke in the summer, and he is now enjoying an incredible campaign in the Championship.

The 22-year-old now operates as a left-winger and has scored nine times in 15 league games this season, but this is not even his most impressive stat, as it has now emerged that he has become the best dribbler in the Championship.

Crystal Palace tried to sign Clarke in the summer but could not agree a deal, but they may still have interest in him ahead of the January transfer window.

With Palace still feeling the departure of tricky winger Wilfried Zaha, Clarke could be the perfect solution to fill the void of a legend.

He has been described as the “most prolific” dribbler in the Championship, and given his young age, this could well be set to improve.

With Palace struggling creatively this season, Clarke could be an astute addition to help replace Zaha’s wide threat, as well as adding more goals to the side.Crystal Palace v AFC Bournemouth - Premier League

His remarkable dribbling ability sets him apart from anyone in the Championship, and whilst there may be an adjustment period should he move up to the Premier League, he could be a long-term option on the wing for Palace alongside Eberechi Eze and Michael Olise
