Wolves beat Spurs at Molineux on Saturday afternoon with a dramatic late comeback seeing a 2-1 win for Gary O’Neil’s side.

Wolves were the better side against Spurs and deserved the three points they eventually picked up. However, they did it the hard way.

Leaving it until the 91st minute as substitute Pablo Sarabia scored one of the best goals we will see all season. The comeback was then completed in the 97th minute as Mario Lemina converted Sarabia’s through ball to make it 2-1.

Three huge points for Wolves and a move up to 15 points which sees them now eyeing up the top half we imagine.

After the win, Sarabia was full of praise for his teammate Lemina.

Sarabia praises Lemina

Speaking post-game on TNT Sports after the two linked up for that dramatic winner, Sarabia was full of praise for Lemina.

“He’s very important for us, he has a very strong mentality, he’s very strong

Sarabia clearly a huge fan of his midfield general with Lemina and Gary O’Neil will be keen for the two to play together more, given how successful they were against Spurs.

The Spanish international in particular will have seen his stock rise sharply and will be right in O’Neil’s thinking after the international break.

The two late goals from Wolves came through two moments of absolute brilliance from some of the team’s key players.

For Sarabia’s goal, Matheus Cunha delivered a wonderful cross which Sarabia took well before finishing just as well.

The second came from an impressive moment again from Sarabia who cut inside and slipped a well-weighted ball to the bombing forward Lemina who then finished the game off to make it 2-1.
