“I Want To Do Better,” Texans Rookie QB C.J. Stroud Is Still Not Satisfied Despite Being In MVP Discussions

Since the Houston Texans selected rookie quarterback C.J. Stroud with the No. 2 overall pick in this year’s NFL Draft, Stroud has taken the NFL by storm. Stroud has quickly revitalized a Texans franchise that won just three games all of last season, having already won five games through 10 weeks of the 2023 campaign. Stroud’s efforts have put him in MVP discussions, but he’s still not satisfied.

“I want to do better. I want to be as complete as I can. This game is a process, and I know every week I have to bring it,” Stroud stated when asked to give his thoughts on being viewed as a potential MVP candidate.
