Only one player has been ruled out for the Buccaneers vs. 49ers game.
When the Bucs head to San Francisco in Week 11 looking to avenge last year’s 35-7 loss to the 49ers, they will be much healthier than they were prior to the trip out west last year. That’s something that head coach Todd Bowles pointed to Friday.
“Hopefully healthier – we’re healthier,” Bowles said. “Obviously, we’re different schematically and everything else and you have to build it differently, but that’s really about it. We tweaked some things, we have a lot younger guys right now. We should be a little healthie.
Given the team’s early Week 5 bye, it’s quite remarkable how healthy the Bucs are in mid-November. In fact, only safety Ryan Neal (thumb) has been ruled out prior to Sunday’s game at Levi’s Stadium.
Carlton Davis (toe) is questionable after missing last week’s game, while Matt Feiler (knee), Josh Hayes (concussion) and Devin White (foot) are all questionable as well. All were able to practice fully on Friday for Tampa Bay, which should bode well for their statuses come Sunday.
For the 49ers, only guards Aaron Banks (toe) and Nick Zakelj (biceps) have been ruled out for Week 11.
