Tennessee Titans Starting RT Chris Hubbard Out For Season With Biceps Injury According to Report
The Tennessee Titans got lucky this offseason when they signed offensive tackle Chris Hubbard before training camp. The only reason the Titans made the move was due to a six-game suspension to then-starting tackle Nicholas Petit-Frere, but in a turn of events, Hubbard has actually been the Titans’ most consistent offensive lineman this year.
Sadly, that makes the recent news on Hubbard even more deflating. According to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, Hubbard will miss the remainder of the season with a biceps injury. Hubbard started nine games so far this year and just returned in Week 11 from a concussion suffered in Week 9.
The ten-year veteran gave some stability on the right side of the line even if he wasn’t playing at a pro-bowl level. Now, with Andre Dillard in concussion protocol, Petit-Frere on injured reserve and Hubbard out, the Titans are even thinner at a position they have been light at for two straight seasons.
