Brock Purdy might be the perfect quarterback for the 49ers, when you factor in his field vision, accuracy and salary. But he’s far from the only quarterback who could win with the 49ers.
The 49ers have the best roster in the NFL — it’s built to elevate quarterbacks. And it certainly elevates Purdy, although he’s excellent in his own right. Just look at how the 49ers roster boosted up Jimmy Garoppolo, who currently is the backup quarterback for the Raiders. Meaning he’s not one of the top 32 quarterbacks in the NFL. And for years, the 49ers made him look like a top-15 quarterback at worst.
So if Garoppolo can go to the Super Bowl with the 49ers, how many NFL quarterbacks actually could win the Super Bowl with this roster?
