Leeds United look to have agreed a deal to appoint a new head of recruitment at the end of this month, with Aberdeen’s Jordan Miles heading south from Scotland to form another key part of the 49ers’ growing team.

The Whites needed an overhaul from top to bottom in the summer, and it was triggered by the complete takeover by the 49ers from Andrea Radrizzani.

Boardroom reshuffling has been a patient process ever since, with key appointments made as and when they become possible, with the latest being the head of recruitment position.

Jordan Miles agrees to join Leeds

It was reported last weekend by Football Scotland that Leeds are closing in on announcing their new head of recruitment in the form of Aberdeen’s Jordan Miles.

They claim that compensation will be paid by the Elland Road club to see Miles uprooted for the second time in six months after only moving to Pittodrie in the summer months.

He will be staying put at Aberdeen for the rest of the January window, at which time he will be heading to West Yorkshire to start his third job in less than a year.

A reasonable question from fans would be to wonder who Miles actually is, given he’s coming from the Scottish Premiership at the age of 33, where few Leeds fans will pay significant attention to right now.
