24-year-old goalkeeper Nick Hayes has extended his loan with non-league side Solihull Moors until the end of the season.

He joined the Midlands-based club last month and has impressed, keeping two clean sheets in six appearances and subsequently doing enough to have his loan extended.

Hayes signed for Ipswich in January 2022 from Hemel Hempstead Town and spent time on loan with Southend United last season. The shot-stopper is out of contract with the Tractor Boys in the summer and is yet to make a first-team appearance, so it remains to be seen if he’s got a future at the club.
