Stefan StevensonThe Texas Rangers radio home will remain at KRLD/105.3 “The Fan” through the 2027 season. The Rangers and Audacy agreed on an extension last week. Rangers Hall of Fame radio voice Eric Nadel also confirmed he’s returning to the booth for the full season after missing much of the 2023 regular season. “The Fan” has been the club’s flagship station since 2015. KRLD has broadcast the team’s games in 26 of the past 30 seasons.

Stefan Stevenson“We have an outstanding partnership with 105.3 ‘The Fan’ that provides unmatched coverage of the Rangers in North Texas,” Rangers’ Executive VP of Public Affairs John Blake said in a release. “The Rangers are proud to share in the celebration of our 2023 World Series championship with ‘The Fan’ and look forward to continuing our relationship.” Nadel is returning for his 46th season with the club. He joins 12-year booth partner Matt Hicks and Jared Sandler, who returns for his 10th season hosting pre and postgame coverage, and providing play-by-play on select games. Sister station KRLD NewsRadio 1080 will again broadcast games that conflict with previously scheduled programming on “The Fan.”

The agreement includes full pregame and postgame shows and daily Rangers-themed programming with players, coaches, and front-office personnel. “We’re thrilled to continue bringing fans the best in class Ranger play-by-play calls, along with the audio gold of our General Manager, Manager, and Player shows,” Audacy Regional President Brian Purdy said. “Spring Training is just around the corner, and we can’t wait to get started with this season and years to come across North Texas.” The Texas Rangers Radio Network broadcasts Rangers baseball games to more than 70 stations in Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana, and Oklahoma. The Rangers oversee all radio production and network elements of the broadcasts
