So far in his blossoming career, Luke Littler has been greeted with a heroes welcome wherever he’s been. But the Dutch fans in Den Bosch gave him a different reception just before his match against Dirk van Duijvenbode at the Dutch Darts Masters.

Dutch spectators treated the 17-year-old to boos. Though that seemed to have little impression on the losing World Championship finalist, who responded by putting his hands behind his ears.

There was no hard feelings from the teen sensation towards the crowd however. ”They were booing me tonight though,” Littler laughed when asked post-match why he cupped his ears. “Well I was playing a Dutch player on his home turf so I kind of need to get used to it.”
