Leicester City are one of the few sides in the Championship who are still to make a signing this month.
Boss Enzo Maresca has insisted he knows “what we need” but Leicester can only make an addition if a member of the squad departs to free up a spot in their permitted 25-man line up. Cesare Casadei’s shock return to Chelsea has left Maresca craving two new midfielders in the final days of the window.
When quizzed about whether City would sign players, the Italian boss said: “We still have four or five days, but we are not allowed to do anything in this moment. We need to sell to bring in. At the end it’s not difficult because we are happy with the squad. But with internationals and injuries, we are short. But we don’t definitely have to sell.”
