Confirmed: Ipswich Town beat westbrom and leicester city  to the attacking “target” with 24 goals and assists this season.

Leeds’ transfer activity hasn’t been up to the pace of their promotion rivals this month, with a number of targets linked, but none signed as of yet.

Defence has to be a priority with three-and-a-half days left of the window, but an attacking signing could be very useful too.

AFC Wimbledon striker Ali Al-Hamadi has been in exceptional form this season in League Two and across other competitions.

reported earlier in the season that he was a striker very much on Leeds’ radar ahead of the January window.

At 21-years-old, he looked destined to make his way up the EFL ladder with his form for the Dons seriously impressive, scoring 17 and assisting a further seven in all competitions already.

However, Leeds have missed out on this reported target, with Ipswich Town confirming the signing of the 21-year-old this afternoon:
