FBL-ENG-PR-NOTTINGHAM FOREST-BLACKPOOLSheffield United are now in talks over a deal to bring Nottingham Forest defender Joe Worrall to the club before the deadline.

United are looking to add to the defence and Mason Holgate is apparently on his way to Sheffield to have a medical ahead of a loan move from Everton.FBL-ENG-PR-NOTTINGHAM FOREST-BLACKPOOL

However, it also seems United could move for Worrall as well.

According to The Telegraph’s live blog (12:40), United are now ‘in talks’ over a deal to sign Worrall after the Reds softened their stance on the defender.

Worrall has been on Chris Wilder’s list all window and it looks like the United boss now might get his man.

It remains to be seen if United can do a deal for both Holgate and Worrall. Any deal would involve one of the players signing on a permanent deal due to loan restrictions.

Making moves

It would be a sign of intent from United if they do go out and land two defenders before the deadline and not just one.
