West Ham United are lining up Graham Potter to replace David Moyes at the club.

According to The Sun, the former Chelsea and Brighton manager is the favourite to take over at the London Stadium

Before the season ends, Moyes’ status at the London Stadium might be decided by a crucial stretch of games he has left with the Irons.

The Hammers’ dismal form, which has prevented them from winning in 2024, was exacerbated by their 6-0 thrashing by Arsenal on Sunday.

The Telegraph claims that if West Ham’s current bad performance persists over the next few games, 60-year-old Moyes may be sacked soon.

With their next four league games against Brentford, Everton, Nottingham Forest, and Burnley all at home, Moyes is anticipated to turn up better results in the upcoming weeks. Nevertheless, backups are already being thought of in case he is unable to.

Potter, a former manager of Brighton and Chelsea, is one of the contenders for the position.

The 48-year old was fired from his position at Chelsea in April after a miserable season in which he replaced Thomas Tuchel and suffered 11 losses in 31 games.

Steve Cooper and Julen Lopetegui, two former managers of Nottingham Forest and Wolves, have both been linked to the role.

It’s unclear, though, if the Hammers would try to make the change in the middle of the season or wait until the very end.

During the draw on Friday, February 23, West Ham, who is still in the Europa League, will learn their fate in the last-16.
