Patson Daka returns to the Leicester City starting line-up to take on Middlesbrough with Kelechi Iheanacho the striker to be left out of the squad.
Daka, an unused substitute in the midweek victory over Sheffield Wednesday, replaces Jamie Vardy up front in the sole change made by Enzo Maresca. The Zambian has scored three goals and set up another in his three outings since returning from the Africa Cup of Nations.
With Iheanacho back from Afcon, this is the first game that City have had all four of their strikers available for this season, and Maresca previously said he could not accommodate them all. This time, it’s Iheanacho who misses out, with Vardy and Tom Cannon on the bench.
Aside from the change up front, Maresca has stuck with the same side that beat the Owls. Ricardo Pereira continues his streak of games, with Wout Faes, Jannik Vestergaard, and James Justin joining him in defence.
