Tim Steidten may become an increasingly appealing option for Liverpool.
West Ham United appeared to have landed a coup last summer, luring former Bayer Leverkusen man Steidten as their technical director.
Steidten had been on the wish list at Tottenham Hotspur but instead joined West Ham.
The German embarked on an exciting transfer window, signing Edson Alvarez and Mohammed Kudus from Ajax as well as Konstantinos Mavropanos from Stuttgart.
Those signings have been very positive for West Ham this season and fans would no doubt love to see another Steidten summer transfer window.
However, Steidten may well have other plans amid growing tension inside West Ham…
West Ham fearing Tim Steidten exit
The Guardian now report that West Ham fear Steidten is going to ‘walk away’ from the the club this summer.
It’s stated that there is ‘growing concern’ inside the club that Steidten is not happy and is already planning an escape.
Steidten is allegedly ‘frustrated’ with West Ham’s operating style and feels that he needs more power at the London Stadium.
Steidten also wants a new manager at West Ham, seemingly at odds with David Moyes as his contract runs down.
The frustration has boiled over for Steidten, who saw a deal for winger Ibrahim Osman break down in January – and he has now agreed to join Brighton and Hove Albion.
