Leicester City will welcome back a number of players from loan spells at the end of the current season, all facing uncertainty over their long-term future at the King Power Stadium.
It’s highly likely that the Foxes will look to sell the majority of the returning players but one circumstance that has created debate among supporters is Victor Kristiansen. The left-back is currently enjoying life with Bologna in Italy with Thiago Motta’s men outside the Champions League spots only on goal difference.
The 21-year-old, who cost the Foxes £17million in January 2023, has appeared 23 times for Bologna, registering four assists – three coming in his last five games. On Sunday, a video did the rounds on social media of Kristiansen’s perfect cross for Joshua Zirkzee to net the winner at Lazio.
On City’s popular fans form, Foxes Talk, one supporter suggested he could be utilised next season. “There’s a space in this squad for Kristiansen next season,” he wrote. “Tell me you don’t want to see our left-back delivering what Kristiansen has this season.”
