Well-placed sources have told Football Insider that Harrison is eager to remain in the Premier League next season, but does not want to return to Elland Road even if they earn promotion from the Championship.
However, a permanent move for the 27-year-old will hinge on the Toffees’ pending takeover by 777 Partners and the result of their points deduction appeal.

There is reportedly no option to buy in Harrison’s loan to Everton, meaning they will have to enter fresh negotiations with Daniel Farke’s side if they want to keep him.
The former Middlesbrough man has bagged four goals and three assists in all competitions for the Merseyside giants this season.
He has become an integral member of Dyche’s squad having started 18 league games since his return from injury in late September.
Harrison departed Leeds, who look well-placed for an immediate promotion back to the Premier League, last summer – a move that angered swathes of the Elland Road faithful.
