Not taking their opportunities came back to haunt them in the final 10 minutes as Leeds turned the game around with three goals. The result saw City’s advantage at the top of the Championship cut to six points.
The game was one of interest to fans of both clubs and neutrals. Klopp has now revealed that he was also keeping an eye on the clash ahead of his team’s Carabao Cup final two days later.
