West Ham’s 3-1 away win at Everton has eased some pressure off their manager David Moyes.

The Hammers secured all three points at Goodison Park and are now sat in 7th position in the Premier League table.

They fell behind in the second half after Beto opened the scoring for the hosts. However, they fought back after goals by Kurt Zouma, Tomas Soucek and Edson Alvarez.

Moyes’ men now head into their upcoming Europa League Round of 16 clash against SC Freiburg this week in a confident mood.

West Ham win cools heat on David Moyes

West Ham still have a great chance of qualifying for Europe once again this term and even though they have suffered a few disappointing losses, especially their heavy 6-0 defeat to Arsenal last month, they haven’t had a bad season at all.

Moyes has done a steady job on the whole and has his side competing at the right end of the league. However, there are always going to be sections of the fanbase at the London Stadium who believe the club should have a bigger name at the helm. There have been reports that he could leave too with Graham Potter linked as a replacement [The Telegraph].

At the end of the day, the Scotsman is a vastly experienced coach and the Hammers will never be in danger under him. He has overseen over 1,000 games from the dugout.
