Leicester City don’t have too long to dwell on their defeat against QPR at the weekend with Championship action coming around quickly again.
City travel up to the North East to take on Sunderland as they look to halt a run of three straight defeats in the Championship. Following the loss on Saturday, Enzo Maresca revealed another injury blow with Ricardo Pereira expected to be out until after the international break with a muscle injury.
Dennis Praet also picked up an injury in the first half against QPR, leaving City short on midfield options. Yunus Akgun is the most likely to play alongside Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall at the Stadium of Light, while Wilfred Ndidi is closing in on a return, but the game against the Black Cats will come too soon.
