Wrexham AFC fought back to earn a point in the final minutes of added time at a saturated STōK Cae Ras.

As the rain fell heavier, the first goal of the game went to the visiting side. Things got harder when Ryan Barnett was shown a straight red in the 36th minute. A man down the Red Dragons, undeterred pushed on and Paul Mullin leveled the scoreline – A first goal since his return from injury. Wrexham were to face an a battle in the second half when Crewe were awarded a penalty just before half time. Chris Long slotting it past Arthur Okonkwo.

It didn’t take long for the boys in red to respond however – just two minutes in fact. Mullin scoring his second of the match to the delight of the home fans. A third for the visiting Crewe Alexandra in the 65th minute once again left Wrexham trailing. Not giving up Wrexham AFC pushed on, looking for a third for themselves. A goal that was achived in the 95th minute by Steven Fletcher – a first Wrexham goal since signing for the club earlier in September.
