TYLER Goodrham is to miss Oxford United’s next two games with the calf injury which ruled him out at Portsmouth.
The 20-year-old winger initially collected the knock in the 2-1 defeat at home to Leyton Orient, with it then aggravated in training last week.
Also missing for the trip to Pompey was Sam Long, who was unavailable due to illness.
“Depending on the international break, we’ll expect him to be fully fit, and to start for the Lincoln game.”
United’s home match against Lincoln City is currently scheduled for March 23, although international call-ups will possibly see the fixture rearranged.
Goodrham has established himself as a key player for the U’s this season, scoring 10 goals in 41 appearances across all competitions.
He enjoyed a strong breakthrough campaign in the 2022/23 season, with four goals in 44 games. Two of those strikes proved instrumental in United securing their Sky Bet League One status, during the battle against relegation.
On Long, Buckingham said: “Sam’s back and has trained all week, so he’s available for selection.”
