Alan Myers is not ruling out an official announcement being made of Everton being taken over by the 777 Partners in the coming week.
The Sky Sports news editor was asked about it on Twitter and he hinted at the possibility of it happening over the next seven days.
The Premier League are expected to make their decision soon and that could be followed by the club making an announcement.
Via Twitter, Myers wrote: “I wouldn’t rule it out.”
