In light of Leeds United’s uncertain future, a journalist claims to have transferred the phenomenal attacker following a recent Instagram post.

Ben Jacobs doesn’t expect Borussia Mönchengladbach to be able to sign Leeds United centre-back Max Wober permanently, speaking to Give Me Sport.

Wober was one of several first-teamers to secure loan exits from Elland Road during the summer window, with these exits a blow for the Whites considering they were unable to generate much, if any, revenue from the departures.

Wober could have been an excellent option in central defence – but he decided to make the temporary move to Germany and it remains to be seen whether he will be in Daniel Farke’s plans if he returns to Elland Road.

Joe Rodon was signed on a season-long loan deal during the summer window – and he has proved to be an excellent option alongside Pascal Struijk and others at the heart of the Whites’ defence.

Where that leaves Wober remains to be seen, but he’s still a Leeds-owned player at this point and is one of many men who face an uncertain future.

There’s a real chance that the Whites could secure a Premier League return at the first time of asking, after climbing above the likes of Leicester City and Ipswich Town, which could have an influence on who they can keep and who they decide to cash in on.
