Former Roma coach Jose Mourinho has a new proposal on his desk, as it’s reported Fenerbahce want to hire him for next season.
The Special One has been taking some time off since Roma fired him in mid-January, bringing in club icon Daniele De Rossi to replace him.
Mou has repeatedly said he is eager to get back to work and wants to make sure he picks the right option for the next step in his career.
Mourinho on Fenerbahce radar
According to Turkish reporter Yagiz Sabuncuoglu, former Fenerbahce President Aziz Yildirim has put Mourinho top of his wish-list and made an approach.
Yildirim has put his name forward to be a candidate as the new President of the club, having already been at the helm from 1998 to 2018.
It remains to be seen if Yildirim will get the job, and at that point if Mourinho will accept, but Fenerbahce can go on the list of clubs interested in the Portuguese tactician.
Others include a potential return to Chelsea or Manchester United.
