Reggae Boy Bobby De Cordova-Reid stars in Fulham's stunning win over  Arsenal - CNW NetworkSAINTS are reportedly interested in signing Fulham’s Bobby De Cordova-Reid on a free transfer.

The Jamaican international remains in talks with Fulham over a new contract, with his current deal set to expire this summer.

Versatile attacker De Cordova-Reid, 31, featured 33 times for Marco Silva’s side in the Premier League last season as they finished 13th.

The former Bristol City and Cardiff City man netted six times while also providing two assists.

The Sun report that Fulham have offered De Cordova-Reid a new two-year deal and remain hopeful he will stay, despite the interest from Southampton.

Saints have previously been linked with a move for Villarreal and Chile forward Ben Brereton Díaz, who spent the second half of last season at Sheffield United.

De Cordova-Reid has made 209 appearances across all competitions for Fulham since joining in 2020, scoring 32 times and laying on 18 assists.

Capable of playing centrally or out-wide, the 31-time Jamaica international would add attacking quality to Saints should a deal be agreed.

Russell Martin’s side could still lose Che Adams, whose contract is set to expire this summer, while David Brooks has returned to AFC Bournemouth after the conclusion of his loan.

Saints have already confirmed the signings of Adam Lallana and Japanese youth international Rento Takaoka, while Taylor Harwood-Bellis’ loan deal will be made permanent thanks to promotion.
