Steve Cooper has already spoken to key players ahead of the new Premier League season.
Leicester City new boss Steve Cooper was appointed on Thursday, following the departure of Italian boss Enzo Maresca, who earned a move to Chelsea.
Maresca led the Foxes to a 1st place finish in the Championship last season, finishing on 97 points.
Cooper has stamped his authority on the club already, with him set to bring in a new set-piece coach from Norwich City.
He is also looking to keep some key figures at the King Power Stadium, including midfielder Wilfred Ndidi, who is attracting interest from fellow Premier League clubs and abroad.
Despite it only being a few days into his reign, Cooper hasn’t slowed down with preparations.
The Welshman revealed that he has already held crucial talks with a key player ahead of the new campaign.

In his first interview with Leicester City following his appointment, Cooper said that he has already spoken with midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall at the training ground, as well as phone calls with other first-team players.
The former Nottingham Forest boss will certainly want to retain the services of the battling midfielder as they look to build on their promotion winning campaign.
