West Ham have reportedly lost ground to Forest in their pursuit of goalkeeper Carlos Miguel and defender Vitao. And now the left-back Bradley Locko could be the next target to slip through our grasp.

The latest player Forest are attempting to hijack is the 23-year-old Dutch left-back Jayden Oosterwolde of Fenerbahce. West Ham like him as he has the physical presence, pace and proven defensive solidity as shown in his recent season in the Turkish SuperLig.

He is also available for a potential bargain at only £11 million, however, Nottingham Forest are also looking at the player. Clearly this is an ideal situation for the Turkish side who are looking for an auction to force the players price up.

Despite Forest’s interest, West Ham this time might hold the upper hand. Oosterwolde’s price tag is well within our budget. More importantly, unlike Forest, West Ham are not restricted by Financial Fair Play regulations, giving us more financial muscle in this transfer battle.Image for Forest Force Up Hammers Target Asking Price

Quiet what West Ham will do do with another left back is anybody’s guess. Perhaps transfer speculation surrounding Emerson’s move to Serie A might be true, but with Aaron Cresswell and Ollie Scarles on the books, the Hammers are well stocked.
